Like you, I take this time to reflect on the brave, brilliant and beautiful women whom I have admired in my life, and those whose life’s work was filled with courage and determination, as they strived to overcome obstacles thrown in their way. Their stories either broke my heart or made it leap for joy and remain are very powerful, and empowering! In many cases, their struggles and battles were for survival, freedom, justice, truth, etc.
So, wherever and whoever you are, if you have the freedom and power of choice, be grateful, express gratitude, and use these wisely because it’s your prerogative rather than something forced on to you. And do not forget but continue to help others get the freedom and justice they rightfully deserve.
It’s March now and The Colour Closet team has been busy attending fairs during these summer months. It was hard work travelling around, with early morning risings, setting ups and packings, but with a dedicated group of people we hardly noticed or had a chance to feel miserable when some days unexpectedly turned very cold and wet. Positive vibes and words of encouragement were the mantra. So thank you, wonderful people! Noa‘ia ‘e garue. To those who stopped by to meet us, thank you for the conversations and words of support. We’re encouraged to continue moving forward and upward.
